First and foremost, the ROCIMG family would like to wish our clients, partners, and friends a happy and prosperous New Year. As we enter 2026, we do so with gratitude, momentum, and a bold vision for those we serve, both long-standing partners and organizations just beginning their journey with us. At the same time, it would be impossible to look forward without first reflecting on 2025: a year defined by rapid change, meaningful growth, and valuable lessons that continue to shape how we advise and support our clients.

Throughout 2025, ROCIMG explored and addressed a wide spectrum of critical issues impacting today’s technology and business leaders. We examined the evolving role of leadership in an AI-enabled‑ world, from the training executives will need to govern and deploy artificial intelligence responsibly, to new application strategies that balance innovation with risk management. A consistent theme across our work was workforce readiness, and helping organizations prepare their people, not just their platforms, for the realities of AI adoption. We also confronted the economic realities of cybersecurity, recognizing that resilience and security are not just technical challenges, but financial and operational ones as well.

Closer to home, we dedicated significant attention to cybersecurity within one of Maryland’s largest and most vital industries: manufacturing. As digital transformation accelerates across production environments, manufacturers face a unique convergence of operational technology, IT security, and workforce constraints. Alongside this, we challenged IT teams to rethink who they must become in the years ahead; adopting new mindsets, expanding skill sets, and embracing more strategic roles within their organizations. Data analytics trends, opportunities to mature existing cloud security architectures, and the early signals of emerging technologies such as quantum computing and edge computing were also top of mind as we helped clients navigate what’s next without losing sight of what’s essential.

As 2025 drew to a close, ROCIMG took a more deliberate and proactive stance on what AI implementation should truly look like for our clients and for our own firm. While AI is undeniably powerful, it is driven by human creativity, judgment, and empathy. Our approach centers on thoughtful, human-led‑ collaboration, where AI enhances quality, diligence, and capacity rather than replacing them. This philosophy will continue to guide us in how we design solutions, advise leaders, and measure success.

As we move into 2026, our focus remains clear: technology must strengthen communities and create opportunities close to home. Beyond technology, our team also made space to address the everyday economic pressures facing our clients and business neighbors through more direct decision-making. This is a theme we plan to expand upon in 2026, integrating financial insights more closely with our technology and security advisory services.

Internally, ROCIMG experienced its own evolution in 2025. Like many of our clients, we navigated change, addressed challenges, and emerged with sharper focus. These shifts will bring ROCIMG closer to home in the coming year, with increased engagement in state- and ‑county-sponsored‑ initiatives and partnerships. As Governor Wes Moore has emphasized, Maryland is experiencing rapid growth across multiple sectors, and ROCIMG is prepared not only to support this growth, but to actively help shape it through trusted advisory and local collaboration.

Looking ahead, our vCISO and management consulting offerings will embody the progressive vision we share with our clients. By thoughtfully leveraging AI to enhance diligence, accelerate response, and strengthen decision-making, we aim to deliver services that are both forward-facing and deeply practical. The ROCIMG team is energized by what lies ahead and excited for 2026 to be the year our services shine even brighter for the diverse businesses and communities across the great state of Maryland.

Maryland is experiencing remarkable growth across industries, and at ROCIMG, we see this as both a responsibility and an opportunity to help organizations grow securely, ethically, and with purpose.
